The Story of Jenin, is a documentary film directed by Ehab Ghafri. It tells the story of the Jenin Refugee Camp and the city from 2013 until today. The film (70 minutes long) presents the real-life stories of the camp’s residents and the hardships they have faced in recent years, reflecting the daily suffering of Palestinians living in the refugee camps of the West Bank.

The documentary takes the audience on a journey inside the camp, revealing life as it is truly lived there. It was produced over two years, in 2024 and 2025, while the story of Jenin is ongoing and gives an intimate, beautiful and personal look at daily struggles, fears, dreams, and moments of joy. Meanwhile, the community’s profound strength in the face of military violence and displacement comes through everywhere.
The screening will be followed by a question and answer session with the director, Ehab Ghafri
